Diet Watermelon Smoothie

Watermelon is a great choice for any diet smoothie recipe since its low in calories and low fat. TIP: for a thicker smoothie, replace the milk with low fat or non fat plain yogurt.

Ingredients:
6-8 watermelon cubes, deseeded if desired
½ cup ice
1 cup low fat milk
1 scoop lemon sorbet

Directions:
Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend for 45 seconds, or until you reach your desired consistency. Pour into a cup and serve.

Strawberry and Banana Diet Smoothie

Both strawberries and bananas include many vitamins and nutrients within them, plus they're fruits and all natural, making them a perfect choice for someone who needs a diet smoothie. TIP: For easier blending, cut up your fruit before adding it into the blender.

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 cup of low fat milk
1 cup ice
¾ cup non fat yogurt
5-7 strawberries

Directions:
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until it reaches your desired consistency. It will turn out to be a bit thick, but it will fill you up for a couple hours and allow you to cool off during those hot summer months
