Smoothie Recipes With Protein Powder

Adding protein powder to your smoothies can help you get the amount of protein you need daily to stay healthy. Many vegetarians struggle with a protein-deficiency since they do not eat meat. The smoothie recipes below are not just for vegetarians though, as all of us can use an extra boost of protein in our diets everyday. 

Chocolate Smoothie with Protein Powder

1 scoop chocolate-flavored protein powder
1 banana
1 cup ice

This protein-powerhouse smoothie is just what you need to get you going in the morning. Add all of the ingredients to the blender, and blend on high for 30 seconds.

TIP: For even more protein, add another banana, or an additional scoop of protein powder.

Hemp Smoothie with Protein Powder

1 cup hemp milk
1 scoop hemp protein powder
1 banana
1 cup strawberries, fresh
1 cup ice

Add all ingredients to the blender and blend on high for 30-40 seconds, or until you reach your desired consistency.

TIP: If you can not find hemp milk or hemp protein powder at your local health store, shop online.

Soy Smoothie with Protein Powder

1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup soy milk
1 cup soy yogurt
½ cup ice

Add all ingredients to your blender and blend on high for 25-30 seconds, or until you reach your desired consistency.

TIP: For more protein add an additional scoop of protein powder, and 1/3 cup soy milk.
