Peanut butter is great for sandwhiches but few people have discovered a great peanute butter smoothie. Peanut butter smoothie recipes are few in number, but those few offer quite a tasty mix. There are a select few fruits and other ingredients that peanut butter really mixes well with. Most peanut butter recipes will include variations of these particular ingredients.

A Select Few Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipes

Peanut butter smoothie recipes that are really good usually use ingredients that taste good with peanut butter on their own. A good example is a banana, apples, and definitely celery. These fruits also make peanut butter smoothies healthy and with protein. Thus your also getting a healthy protein smoothie as well. Peanut butter smoothie recipes do not usually include juices because the taste contradicts that of the peanut butter. Milk or soy milk are great in peanut butter recipes. Here are two of our favorite peanut butter smoothie recipes.

Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe

This simple recipe includes bananas with peanut butter.

Ingredients:
1 banana cut into chucks
3 tbsp of peanut butter
1 cup of milk( or soy milk)
1/2 cup of yogurt

Directions:
Blend the banana with milk until bananas are well blended. Next mix the yogurt with the peanut butter together before blending them. Add them to the blender and blend till smooth, creamy texture is formed. If a sweeter taste is preferred, chocolate syrup may be added as well.

Celery and Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe

The celery with peanut butter smoothie is a great healthy recipe that combines the benefits of celery and peanut butter. Celery already goes great with peanut butter and this smoothie is too sweet.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp of peanut butter
2 stalks of celery
1 1/2 cups of milk( or soy milk)
1 banana cut into chucks

Directions:
First make sure to cut the celery and bananas into easily blendable chucks. Next blend all ingredients until everything is well mixed.
