The Best Veggie Smoothie Ever
This tasty smoothie is a great way to get your dosage of daily vitamins and minerals without you even knowing it. The banana and honey add a sweetness that cant be beat!
TIP: The key is you want to not go higher than halfway up a 5 cup blender or it gets too thick.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 whole banana, peeled
- 1 tbsp honey or sugar
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
Frozen Add-ins can be any of the following
- 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1/4 cup frozen spinach
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrot
Directions:
Pour milk into the blender. Add banana, sugar/honey/other, and then whatever frozen veggies AND a fruit to the blender. Add milk if it gets too thick. Put blender on a high setting and let it go at it for a good minute or two. Pulse a few times to make sure it's at the "right" consistency. Serve in toddler cup, not sippy cup to avoid messes.
